What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is defined as constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity. In other words, CrossFit is designed to provide its athletes with overall fitness that can be used in everyday life; moving heavy objects properly or carrying groceries and even walking up the stairs.
CrossFit allows athletes to prepare for the "unknown and unknowable", or any task that is thrown your way, with a focus around the ten general physical skills: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, coordination, flexibility, power, speed, balance, accuracy and agility. CrossFit combines weightlifting, gymnastics, body weight movements and the benefits of group training to take your fitness to the next level all while being a part of an amazing community.
