CrossFit is my passion. I enjoy walking into the gym everyday ready to improve, not only myself but everyone around me. I started my CrossFit journey in 2011, shortly after obtained my L1 certification and began coaching. I still can't get enough of it! I have been coached and have coached with many outstanding people right here in the North East. As a coach I love helping athletes of all different skill levels improve themselves in anyway that I can. I have a pretty competitive drive, but I don't let it ruin my sense of fun! When I'm not at the gym saving lives, I am at the fire department saving lives. I have been a firefighter since 2015.

"Good better best, never let it rest, until your good is better then your best"

I finally found my family and sense of belonging when I started CrossFitting in 2010. I had long yearned for a mentor, and like minded individuals to spend time with. CrossFit provided all of that for me. Once my anxiety and introverted nature subsided, I found a sense of purpose. My job was to be a coach, guiding humans towards more optimal versions of themselves. About 6 months ago, I started coaching and taking class again at 128. I joke with Coach Britt that 128 saved my life again. It really did. I'm back to working out, eating clean, recovering smarter and loving coaching. Thank you to my new friends at 128 and cheers to the future. Oh I guess I have my CF Level 1 and CF Level 2 also. I currently am pursuing my CF Level 3. I love puppies. I love chicken parm.

My CrossFit journey started in 2013 and continued at CrossFit 128 when it opened in 2014. Having played sports through high school, CrossFit brought back the competitive spirit that had been missing, but most of all it brought a community that continuously rooted for and motivated me. I quickly realized that I love partaking in workouts as an athlete but also love to see people push themselves and exceed their own expectations. After getting my Level 1 Certification in September 2017 I began coaching, and the enjoyment of helping people to better themselves in a safe but driven manner continues to be rewarding! My goal as a coach is to pass along the knowledge I have gained through my experiences and to promote a positive environment for athletes to work out in.

I found Crossfit when I was pushing 200 lbs after 2 kids. I fell in love with functional fitness. I'm a scaled athlete and I love helping others pursue their fitness goals.

I grew up playing sports my enjoy life. Ice hockey turned into my passion. I went from being the only female on the Leominster Boys Varsity Team to Utica College where I got my degree in Nursing. I stumbled upon CrossFit one summer in between seasons and never looked back. I used CrossFit as my "off ice" training and never saw greater results both physically and mentally. After I graduated in 2014, I went and got my CF-L1. I started coaching here and there at multiple gyms around the Boston area until I found my home at CrossFit 128 in 2016. Since then I have found the family and community that I always felt being a part of the hockey team. I finished my Family Nurse Practitioner degree in May 2017. I am currently working as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA. I finally have the consistent schedule where I can go to work everyday, doing a job I love in sports medicine, then CrossFit by night. I feel my medical background transitions to CrossFit in many aspects and makes me a better coach. I am currently signed up to take the Aerobic Capacity specialty course and my CF-L2 next month in October. Oh and can't forget my first full marathon in November! The learning never stops and I am always looking to further my education both as a NP and in CrossFit.

In 2013 I was introduced to the Crossfit methodology, and the strong community that comes from within each box, and I have not looked back. After discovering and finding how powerful CrossFit can be for an athlete, individuals rehabbing an injury, or those just looking to gain an overall sense of well being, I decided to transform my mission into putting more emphasis on the coaching side. Since then I have worked to give back to the Crossfit community, what it has given me over the years. During this time I have been fortunate enough to work with many great people of all skill levels, who all have a different set of goals, but all inspire me to give my best back to them each and every day.

Being in the gym has always been a huge passion in my life. But over my 11 or so years or lifting I always found myself getting bored and switching back and forth between so many disciplines from lifting to rock climbing and boxing. Until I found Crossfit, the constantly varied nature along with the amazing community atmosphere had me hooked immediately. It was then that I knew I had to combine my passion for teaching and the gym to become a coach and help foster that environment for current and future athletes.
